Sorry to Hi-jack the topic, but do you know how long you stay on probation (IE max 6 Points) I'm in the same boat 3 pionts within two months of getting my new licence.

 

2 years probationary period.

another 3 points and it's goodbye licence, hello ban and extended re-test

I got mine 10 years ago! Was doing 58 in a 30 and all I got was 3 points and a 60 fine.

Drink driving (possibly...pending court case)
Student debt
