    Guys,

I am finally getting around to assembling a ton of engine parts into an engine.
Typically when you think you have everything you then realise whats missing or what you are unsure of.
I have a G60(PG) block and crank, the block is bored to take 83mm Ross Racing pistons with a 16v cut on them.
I have a flowed ABF head and ABF cams. The top end is to be held together with ARP head studs.
On the bottom end I am in the process of getting some ARP studs for the bottom end.
I have a set of 136mm H Beam Rods that are new but i am unsure as to where they came from as they came in a job lot of engine bits i got.
Since i am unsure of them I am contemplating using the factory G60 rods. From my understanding they should be good for 250-300bhp.
What i am not sure about is the rod bolts.
I assumed that i should go with ARP but have read mixed opinions online about them.
Some say they distort the rods and can cause rod/crank failure.
Have any of the engine experts on here got input?
The car will not be used every day but it will be driven when it is used.

    Thanks
