Id probably still buy an Ibiza Cupra/Boc though, as they are only 16,300 and 17,000.

    Angry-looking little feller, isn't he?

Not sure Audi's ultra-aggressive new face really goes with its diminutive size.
Blokes forced to settle for a titchy car might love it, but I'm not sure the ladies will - and it's usually them buying posh little cars, hence why the Mini, 500, iQ and Lupo have such friendly faces.

The 'bad-boy' bonnet and in-your-face grille belong on much larger, heavyweight cars imo.
A1 looks like the stocky little bloke down the pub itching to prove something...

I like that about it though. Most guys that would like to run a smaller car are often put off by "Cutsie" styling.

Indeed Deako, I can see it being a hit with most blokes.

Personally, I liked the complete lack of aggression in the styling of the original TT (which shared its aesthetic with the groundbreaking A6 & A2 at the time).
It harks back to the days of visually pure cars like the Porsche 356 and as such I consider it a Design classic.

Its going to hit a whole new market of car owners that have always lusted for an Audi, but have chosen cheaper alternatives. Starting at 13k is a great price point. Albeit top of the range models will probably be easily specced to 30k.

13k isn't that much cheaper than some of the A3 spedial edition they sell.

However, they will still seel heaps of them. As above it will appeal to new Audi customers and also to existin customers who are after a second smaller car.

I expect the build quiality and interior to be superb.

I've been driving past a secure car park for a few weeks now with these in and finally saw a 60 plate on in my dads village yesterday.

They look just like an ibiza with an audi badge on them! [xx(]

I got invited to the launch at the dealership, they must think I have a missus or something trying to get me to buy a new car a month into mine

I like it, although the one in that pic with the silver pillar over the top reminds me of a C3 [xx(]

Absolutely no way would I have one over the 500 abarth though which sits at 14k and is quick, and if you spec'd one out really nicely you would have spent Mito GTA money which I also prefer!

Seen one too, actually I quite like them though :)

I looked at one back when the prices were being released but they were wayyyyyy overpriced for me

I'm surprised I haven't seen any A1's on the road yet. I'd like to drive one, however I still prefer the A3.

the only ones i've seen so far are the demo cars from the Audi garage at Milton Keynes.

GF wants one so we went and had a look, really hate the red/silver as it reminds me of a C3.

The Sline interior is rather tasty but

Was a little surprised on how small the boot was.

i think the "agressive" front end looks plain crap. doesnt look graceful one bit, looks like a mish mash of "agressive" slanty lines

We saw one in Bluewater shopping centre and was really nice.

The TT is up for renewal at the end of the year and the misses is thinking about down sizing from the TT to a S1. Hope it gets a 2.0T with the new 7speed DSG
