Ok so i've got 280mm Audi Quattro v6 brakes on my 16v MK2 Golf with G60 280mm discs, they work fine, stop the car like a gudun. one annoy problem i had was that when on full lock i could hear this awfull grindin noise. so i'm thinking its the wheels on the arches etc. etc. well i can confirm this was not the case as last week i took the wheel off to have a good look and could find naff all wrong with it. then had a close look at the calipers. well suprisingly the caliper is soooo big that on full lock the inside of the caliper hits the wishbone and scrubs up and down on it. leaving a nice paintless line on the inside of my caliper and making the horrible noise. so i arn't really that bothered about it because i try not to full lock my car. just thought i would inform other people who may have the same problem.
