Audi S6?

well weve had the alfa all of 5mins and we've seen a silver s6 avant that we both really want Its an m reg with 125k 2.2l turbo any known problems and things to look out for?

 

Listen for rumbling of the gearbox bearings, cost over 1000 to sort out on our 1995 A6 quattro.
The engines are pretty tough so just check for blue smoke due to worn turbo

we've sold it now
ours was the 2.8 V6 averaged 28mpg and on a long run you could get 33mpg

 

sweet so the s6 should do sligtly better or at the least, the same as the v6!?

 

Better? I doubt it mate!!

 

I boubt the 5 cylinder turbo lump your getting will be as fuel efficient as the audi v6, audi v6's are always good on fuel so much better than the vw VR6.
On the audi 100 v6 quattro we had before that one you could get 36mpg easy
