Remember the first time I went to Castle Combe, a red 225 Quattro TT (twin exhausts) followed me out of the paddock onto the circuit.

I though,"ahh Turbo TT, I'll let him past when he gets closer."

Still behind me as we left the circuit 20 minutes later....

    :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o That's a little Harsh :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

My thoughts are that a 225BHP 4WD roadster should be able to show a
15yr old hatch with 180 (odd) BHP a clean pair of heels regardless of
    how conservatively it's being driven.

Yer was a bit harsh [:$] I know all the work thats gone into GVK car, thats what the [8(] was for. It was more along the lines of a lot of people on here think there standard 8v mk2 is the fastest car in the world. Also a R32 is not a normal mk4 not like a mk4 8v gti. It must be fair to say that a TT would out do most peoples old golfs on here.

I've got a standard MK2 8v. I think it is a slow assed piece of sh*t. Anyone who says an 8v drives better than a 16v is sniffing glue.

However, I digress. Audi TT, reasonable car for what it is, unfortunately too many pink shirted, tony and guy haircut loving t**sers have them, so they are proper poo poo IMO. Save your pennies and get an S2. That is a proper car. [:D]

TT is a girls cars, too small inside for most guys really! blokes are better off with an S3 (though a scooby is a better buy for the money IMO). i don't think TT's are that bad though, the v6 is the one to have though ;).

I like them. Would have to be the hardtop, audi nimbus grey with hard as nail 18" bbs rims on.

Who cares if they can get shown up by a Golf Mk2 thats been modified. I think if you tried to, the driver of a TT would be thinking you were the t**t.

I have heard the chassis isnt excellent and they arent the best at handling, but they look cool.

Yeah but you'd have fixed it and still be ahead by the time the TT caught up. ;)
