Picked this up last weekend. A rare limited edition TT, 1/1000 with only 440 odd still about. In Avus Silver with the Phantom black roof.

It’s a very trick car as it shares very little with the standard 1.8T 225 Quattro. Has a different chassis, body kit, engine, close ratio gear box, uprated springs and dampers, battery in the back, TT Roadster front subframe with the additional strengthening tie bars different V6 rear subframe and support bars, then the interior. A pair of Recaro Pole position race seats, alcantara steering wheel and gear knob. Also a rear strut brace to mount harnesses from.

The only modification from standard so far is a set of Brembo callipers.

    Very rare now.
BFV engine, only different to the BAM and AMK via the calibration and maximum boost setpoint of 1.1 bar gauge.

Made a trip to see Bill last week for a full inspection and power testing. Did what it said on the tin a strong 238bhp. not the smoothest map from the factory but might get Bill to remap it at some point.

Needs a few little things but is a really nice example of a QS

Nice car Mike. I was going to say make a good Standard Production car for Hills and sprints, I know the Welsh Championship has a class for SP. Only thing is must be totally Std, apart from change to seats and belts allowed I think, and list 1B tyres as I recall. Calipers would be an issue......but I doubt anyone would really know :-)......and brake changes are well down the list of advantages for hills and sprints not much of an advantage

Thanks Tony, It’s a great little car, actually reminds me of my mk1 when driving it funnily.

With the BOC handicap your against your own time. Some interesting cars in the sports category too.

Also I noticed there is a new category for road going a 4wd class. !
