what do people think of these?

any one got one? what kinda money do they go for?

performance figures for them, they are 2.1 turbo, correct? what awd system did they use? is it the same as the rallye/ syncro's?

what different models / specs were there, any limited editions?

sorry about all the questions! [:D]

Quattaro... I think it's an entity in itself, like Haldex/Syncro.

Quattro uses Torsen diffs, VW used to synchro but now use 4motion (Haldex)

But when Audi release a car on a VW floorpan such as the A3 and TT which are based on the MK4 Golf floorpan they use 4motion (Haldex) and badge it as Quattro as the floorpan would need to be renginered to use Quattro (Torsen) diffs.

it appears they are a 2.1 as i thought, but there is also a 2.2 thats an MB not a WR though,

so its constant AWD or only when required??

Dad had three in the 80s - Two "normal" one Treser (lowered, tuned, bodykit, etc.
Still rates them as the best cars he's ever had (including a 928, Fezza, etc).
They fetch big money nowadays if in good nick.

A white one "lived" near us when we were in the Docklands.
Never failed to make me drool.
They were about 60-70k new in the 80s!
Treser one was a bit daft too pricewise.
