where do you route the speaker cable to the sub?? it's totally enclosed someone's gonna point something very obvious out to me and i'm gonna feel stupid
your better off fitting propper binding posts i reckon, looks alot neater and you can use bananna plugs so you can take it out easily, tim
actually 180 new i got it for 50 they don't do them for mk1s and yes, it's for the passenger side. looks like so when fitted. gonna retrim mine in black
I am looking into making them in a few months now i have my own garage. Problem is finding Golfs in my area to take the initial mold
i was thinking about taking a mould of this one the front is only mdf and could be done very easily too
yeh they are really easy to make, its just keeping them looking tidy when in the process of making it, ensuring the fg doesnt stick to the car or mould in to somthing where it cant be removed, tim
South coast I am afraid! [:^(] As long as you mask the car up right then you shouldnt get any mess anywhere! Quite easy to make really, should really get a bolt for my car before I sell it lol
There is exactly how to make a fg sub enclosure... http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=76606 I followed the instructions from that link and produced a working box. The key is not to rush it, be patient.
what is the internal volume of it? may be worth sticking some wadding in there. i like the sound of sealed boxes, got one myself. worth checking whether your sub will work nicely in that size box
Bargain price! Where'd you get it from?! I've seen two for sale (drivers side), said I'd have them and the guys never replied and just disappeared! Thinking about making one too, but just got to get my ar5e in gear!
