audioscape sub enclosure - am i being daft??

    where do you route the speaker cable to the sub?? [:s]

    it's totally enclosed :lol:

    your better off fitting propper binding posts i reckon,

    looks alot neater and you can use bananna plugs so you can take it out easily,

    actually 180 new ;) i got it for 50

    they don't do them for mk1s

    and yes, it's for the passenger side.
    looks like so when fitted.

    I am looking into making them in a few months now i have my own garage. Problem is finding Golfs in my area to take the initial mold

    i was thinking about taking a mould of this one :)

    the front is only mdf and could be done very easily too :)

    yeh they are really easy to make, its just keeping them looking tidy when in the process of making it,

    ensuring the fg doesnt stick to the car or mould in to somthing where it cant be removed,

    As long as you mask the car up right then you shouldnt get any mess anywhere! Quite easy to make really, should really get a bolt for my car before I sell it lol

    what is the internal volume of it? may be worth sticking some wadding in there. i like the sound of sealed boxes, got one myself.

    worth checking whether your sub will work nicely in that size box

    Bargain price! Where'd you get it from?! I've seen two for sale (drivers side), said I'd have them and the guys never replied and just disappeared!
