The 3-9 March issue of Autoexpress has numerous reprint adverts from Mk1 right through to the new MkV. The advert for the Mk3 Golf states "in 1996 we launched the VR6: the most powerful Golf yet and monstrously quick at 192 bhp". This accompanied a reprint advert of a Mk3 GTI. What a load of rubbish!! VW really are clowns .
The advertising agency are the ones at fault surely and the 2.9 vr6 engine put that power out not the 2.8 (I think)
This sort of thing really annoys me. People get paid a ridiculous amount of money to do a job. And then dont do it If they dont want the job working for VW marketing then I`ll take it.
