Fantastic aircraft, will never forget seeing the very last flight before the rebuild at Farnborough many, many years ago. The noise and sheer presence of this aircraft is amazing. One of my favs for sure

I can honestly say I couldnt hear it at all, it was surreal the way it banked around the track really slowly and made no noise, mind the touring cars are a million times louder in the flesh!

Was just watching the coverage i had on Sky+ and they have a quick shot of it going over.
I will pause it and take a pic tonight.

Yes Nick, Those turbos are bloody loud!
The loudest i heard was the Aon's last year when they ran on LPG. The launch off the line was mental!

It would have been off throttle as when its is wound up it makes the most amazing howl. Ive never heard another aircraft like it.

I agree there is nothing like it when shes flat out at full throttle. But also is fantastically graceful when maneuvering at low speed. Which in itself is a something else as the is no sound but she is do imposing in the sky.

Nooooooooooo - he's got the perfect camera, and a not-bad lens, which is how he produces such stunning photographs. I feel quite sorry for all these Canon owners ..... ;)
