Thanks for hosting that Gary, I tried to get it earlier, from a link on another forum.

 

That's mental, between 7 mins 30 secs and 8.0 mins he must be doing 200 mph. And I bet it's from a NA car as it a beemer.

Definitely the best in-car race Ring vid I've seen.

Seriously impressive on the Schwedenskreuz and into the corners at the end of the main straight.

And a full 'Ring lap + new circuit (short route) in ~ 8:37..

Holy ....

 

I think it easily rivals the Bell 956 lap

i've watched this vid about 20 times now...cant get enough of it, is awesome. rear tyres look to be going off on the corners before the straight whcih makes it a bit interesting!

It took Derek Bell 6:41 in the Rothmans Porsche 956 to do the Nurburgring Norschleife - 13.02miles (157 corners), with a huge old skool BBC camera in the passenger area.
Jacky Ickx flew by him down the Fuchsrohre. ('In Car 956' Video)

It should be interesting to compare the Hans Stuck video with the 956 video on the Nordschleife . The 700bhp+ Porsche 911 video is also quite amazing.
