Bad disc/pads

    Got a car off ebay a few months ago only for parts

    but the bloke was still driving it around with brakes like this.

    Oh cr*p. How can someone neglect something like that. you'd cringe if you saw him braking behind you

    still a few mil to be had there!:lol: but on a serious note, they look like they have been heavily neglected![8(]

    The stopping power of those disc's would be amazing, but pad wear would be a little bit too high for my liking :lol:

    Once had a GTX come in with the inner side of the disc worn down to the vents like that, feck knows how they do it [:s] [:s] [:s]

    Less than 6 months old them aswell. Thing is Wagon drove and stopped as it should no squealing grinding etc. Only found out after it had dumped its Brake fluid on the floor of the yard[:s]

    i had one like that, my golf was passed down from my sister i thought the brakes were squeeking a bit so when i changed the pads and discs i found that there was actually just metal on the pads
