Here's a pic of Bill's car undressed. I spotted it when I had my car mapped at Jabba the other week. I'll let Bill explain why the bumper was missing. Edited by: harry_the_cake
One of the VWSport fellas is running an AEB with uprated cams, pistons, rods, 36psi of boost and 760hp at the wheels at 8000rpm.
Does make me laugh, you've got a very high spec engine with a lot of trick bits and all folk comment on is Bill's garden hose/airline [:^(]
I cant even imagine what its like trying to apply that power to the ground. mine does'nt put much down at the moment in this weather.. only 5th gear is the non spinning one. Hopefully this is a 4wd machine.. Amazing..
LOL, yea.. but they have a point. It looks out of place. got to source some better looking, see-thru flexi hose for the breathers. Spotted some vacuum hose on a machine, so I will see if that fits my pipes.
The 759W hp Corrado on VW Sport... http://forum.vwsport.com/viewtopic.php?t=20610&postdays=0&po storder=asc&start=30 Cant wait to see your motor on track Bill, it was nuts in previous form let alone now! Congrats! Edited by: Polog4tracer
seen it, also note that it's going to have 18" wide front wheels or something mad like that. no 195/50/15 toyo's there! (unlike 90% of the UK vw scene...)
not sure if this direct link I think it may have some issues on cornering.. http://forum.vwsport.com/pics/showgallery.php?ppuser=34&cat= 500 Edited by: badger-bill
Bill knows im not serious, I just remember having garden hose that used to look look that! Lol! Im sure Bill wouldn't use cheap crap after all that work.
Nice result Bill.....all ready for competing next year. Previously 140mph at Avon Rise...........now it will be 150mph. Makes the valver club look on in disbelief. As we spoke the S3 looks like a good option running big power too. Ian
4wd boys have their own class next year, but I want to be in front of them not behind. 4wd winning times this year are the same as I already did on old motor, road trim. going to be a very competitive grid I think next year and faster all round. 1.8t powered machinery in abundance.
