    We were at Bedford yesterday with Matt`s 328i.

    First corner on old slicks that hadn't been used for years.

    I'd just explained in the pits they have NO grip when they are old and cold.

    As usual, he thought I was exaggerating. :p

    His cheeky grin near the end makes me laugh. lol

    I always fancied giving Grip tyre softener a go with Geof Hauser based just up the road, but I'm not sure if it would be much use on today's high silica road tyres.

    Should work on the slicks though if they're worth reviving.

    They are fine once warmed up properly. Not as grippy as new ones or even decent `R` tyres, but these are 120 a set ;)
