I need to buy a suit for a wedding on saturday and i've narrowed it down to 2 similar ones, 1 at Burton and 1 at M&S.

They both fit weill but any idea which would be the best quality?

Hmm they all seem to be made in China these days, the M&S suit I had for work was made well enough but the buttons came off way to easily.

Probably all made in the same factory - go Hugo Boss or go home! I'm off to a wedding tomorrow in mine, great quality and you can easily get it tailored to fit you exactly.

I used to say Austin Reed, but they're really taking the mickey now.

But you'd never catch me in Burton!

Hit the cancer research or charity shops and have a rummage. Chances are there will be some trendy fashionable virtually unused or new quality kit in them somewhere.

^^ What the Danster said. Go round the charity shops in the nearest posh town where footballers live - designer pickings there!

My current suit, if it can be called that, was something like 15 from Tesco. Does me for the occasional wedding/funeral, its a good fit but the quality is shocking. 148% Polyester too, so i'm literally firing lightning bolts from my fingers there's so much static.

I use lewins, they usually have a sale on, will tailor it for you and the suits are cut really well! :)

suit supply were much nicer than the lewins one, me and elucidate did the whole saville row trawl last year.

we also went into Ralph Lauren's. Elucidates mate runs a department there, so we had a beer and the suit consultant came over. We discussed cut and fabrics etc, and he said "it'll be 12 sir" so we thought 1200, that's a bit much. But no it was 12K. Sharp exit

if you get one from lewins they massively mark up the tailoring, The leicester branch just use a local guy in the market to do their stuff, so best to go direct

I still haven't had my Hugo boss one tailored, but it's pretty close, I just need 6" heels as the trousers are a touch long. Chelsea boots it is! Gutted I couldn't find a shirt in the colour I wanted with cufflink holes so I could show off my flashy Mont Blanc cufflinks - whaddya expect when you go to buy a shirt on the morning of the wedding (today), from Next?
