best trackday 020 box and ratios

Less lucky: I also found a 2Y gbox, with 3, 4 & 5 GrA (5th = 1.261), 1 & 2 std; 650 for 1 & 2 GrA (2.727 in 1st) bargain, as the box was fitted with a 3.94 + lsd its too short, I have to find a MS 3.38 to reach 195 kph. Ordered , then received a correct crown wheel with a 02A pinion.

Resend and received in place a real 3.38, but for a 8V box, not compatible for the 4th gear! (seems to come from VW MS South Africa). Seller has no other solution, but cutting & welding 2 4th gear pinions ( original 8v 4th and the MS one, to fit it on te shaft!).

I'm still looking for a 3.38 MS for 16V.
