Bhangra is a form of indian music...the best known form tbh!

Lots of british bhangra artists around at the min...listen to bobby and nihal on BBC radio1 to get an idea! Even if you don't understand what it means the beats are awesome! :)

Jason (not a very indian name is it ;)) for bhangra chat try edition38's forum...pleanty of us singhs on there to talk to about it! :)

I'm guessing he's from london way, and like most young asain boys talks like that...so types like that!

Basically he's saying..."listen to punjabi MC cos he's good (he's not that good btw) or listen to anything thats got the dhol is the main type of drum used in bhangra...they use that to create the main beat! trust me..it's the best!"

I know most know what bhangra is...but some people just don't so thought i'd make it clear! :)

Bhangra is always evolving, artists are always influenced by western genres - drum & bass, garage, hip hop etc etc. Most of it is junk to be honest, but the good producers can really make some blinding tracks.

    I prefer traditional tho.
