Here’s the best shot I could find of my ‘91 16v, see it in the lower middle area of where the bumper should be. hope it helps.
yep it holds the middle of the GTI splitter. Mines been missing since I had it seems ok, I do have one but I'm always catching the splitter on curbs so I'll destroy it if I put it on
Etka list says 16v g60, so 1.6 driver is not meant to have this? I'm also scraping sometimes with eibach springs, and now the middle sits more to the front.
1.6 driver will always have small bumpers, so it wouldnt have the bracket no. tbh I wouldnt bother with it, your splitter looks alright,. sometimes they really bow out at the bottom without the bracket to hold it
