hi guys, its been a long time since i was here last, ventured off to the t4 transporter world, im back again though, i have been given a mk2 golf gti 8v off a friend as he is doing a vr conversion and the car he gave me (pre 90) was more difficult to convert so he went and bought a 90 spec one, im new to the tuning side of golfs as i usually leave them standard but this time i have the time space and kit to do more, so i want to see how difficult it will be to fit bike carbs my qeustions are 1, what carbs are best to use 2, what i need to do to them to get them to run correctly 3, what needs blocking off or attaching 4, a basic shopping list i think i can sort the manifold myself, i have tried doing a search but throws up loads of valver conversions, so do i take this as a no no? really want to go through with this so any help will be good help thanks in advance Dean
