Bike carb pump mounting !

    Any ideas where i can mount the pump seen as there is no existing brackets etc as my car is not a gti ...plus does the pump need to be horizontal

    Mount it anywhere you like, it really doesn't matter.

    I always mount mine somewhere near the tank though as they're designed to push fuel not pull it, but plenty of people (mates included) mount them in the bay with no problems :)

    mount it near the tank then you can use the existing fuel pump wires to connect it. less hassle and less wiring

    no existing wires mate mine isnt a gti.... :p

    Made a bracket for mounting it under car and going to wire it to a relay like rubjonny has mentioned

    Don't carb models have a lift pump either?

    No! They use Paul Daniels to send fuel to the carb via the gift of magic. He's tucked away in the spare-wheel well if you didn't know:)

    That's what I thought.
    So just plug the bike pump straight into Paul's connections, common sense no?
