I have a MK1 GTI that I use mostly for track outings. Since I've owned the car it has had Bilstein struts fitted. The rear of the car has always felt sloppy in comparison to my other MK1 GTI so I replaced the rear shocks (one was leaking anyway) with a new pair of bilsteins. The car still feels loose and sloppy at the rear. I've also replaced the rear top mount bushes and I have some new beam bushes yet to be fitted.
Anyone have any ideas about how I can get rid of the looseness?
Anyone else have bilsteins on a MK1? - how does the rear feel?
Any help or comments would be appreciated.
    Cheers

    Matt

I would have thought the new beam bushes would make the difference your after. Maybe look at a beefier anti roll bar than standard.

Thanks for the reply, anyone else got any thoughts?

ARBs would be nice but out of the question in the short term.
