My Dad had his mint Red 165bhp 16 v H reg nicked off the drive , it wasn't running as the bottom pulley had spun due to rubbish garage repair so was a uninsured none runner . Scrotes pushed or towed it down the road into a back street where they stripped out the leather interior and took the distributor cap and leads before torching it Firewall forward was ok so I stripped it and stuck it in a container at work for 10 years . I started to mess with it 5 years ago and reignited my love of Mk2 16v Gti's
had the passenger heated glass pinched out of my mk2 a few years back. the wee fecker then had the cheek to check a couple days later to see if I had replaced it with another heated glass, which I hadn't had a couple bmw wheel caps go missing off it on one side as well, the expensive alloy type ones
