    Alright, so here's the dilemma.

Got a 1985 vw golf over here in the states. One fuel injector hose has apparently ruptured. I have had crazy difficulty finding 027 133 660 a, represented by item 25 on this diagram below as number 25

Only what's on this diagram is a part known as part 027 133 660 c.

Okay, alot of info here, I know. My huge question is if a 027 133 660 c will work in place of a 027 133 660 a. I know one end has to be held on by a 9/16ths nut and the other end is a 1/2 inch bolt. Are they so incredibly different that buying a c would never fit in place of an a? Because here in the states I simply cannot find a 027 133 660 a that is still available for purchase... while a 027 133 660 c is more then obtainable.

Hope some hardcore Golf GTI nut would know this. Meanwhile i got other leads at certain junkyards but this is a difficult question.

Could it be a part that's superceded the old one? VW should be able to tell you, in which case it would fit. Is it ke-jetronic on your motor? I don't think we got that over here.
