    Lucky though, if you know what I mean. They could have done a lot worse damage than that!

    I'm not sure if its too vital with the Mk3, but I've got armour plates on my Mk2. Though saying that, mine was broken into through the tailgate as a result. B*stards.

    only 111k? mine is on 175k now [:D]

    mine was attempted to be broken into last year. i got home from work and the lock barel was hanging out half an inch. they could have pulled that off by hand and then unlocked it with a finger nail (no alarm)

    as a result, i fitted a Toad and then bought some mk3 golf REAR door handles and fitted them on the front.

    Thanks for posting the image up, i dont know how!

    YEah could have been worse, i think the nite that happened was the nite i left my headunit facia in the car!!

    Thats the thing ive actualy got a CLIFFORD alarm, its a really old one but still works.

    Ive got to get a new door handle and lock barrel now!!

    oh no, the whole headunit or only facsia? mine comes out every nite now just incase.

    cars been fixed now so no more wood worm infestation!

    Real nice one too, usb port, sd card slot, line in for a PDA
