Hiya to all of you fellow dubbers out there!

I've just bought a new Golf mark IV. I've seen many cars with porsche to vw adaptors so you can fit porsche rims to a vw. This ideas been done to death (?). And while looking on the internet for ideas, I came across an american MKIV with rims similar to the new shape M3 EVO alloys. (JAMES LIN'S Red 1.8T on the website www.vwfixx.com below)

    Q. Does a VW - BMW adaptor exist?

    Q. Does anyone know of similar looking rims with a
VW fitment (I'm looking at 18's or 19's at a
    stretch!)

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Bob

if you tell us the offsets of each wheel it will help us identify if an adaptor will be feasable.
Mk14's are what? 5 stud.E46 bimmers are 5 stud cant remember the offset! or pcd and i own one!(well an e36-same offset!)

remind me and i will enlighten you.

Iam guessing that the offsets are different as people would be doin this mod more often.
Commonly an adaptor my not work as the holes may overlap in some places...

    oh well..

You can buy the adapters from this German website. I think BMW uses quite low offsets though, so it might be difficult to fit them inside the arches with the adapters. You need at last 15 mm spacers. A better option would be Mercedes rims with adapters to 5-112 (or mk V Golf rims)
