bonnet bras?

    if you car looks that nice at the front - why cover it up and put an ugly piece of cr*p there?

    nothing wrong with fetish clothing, my personal favs are riding boots and fishnets, great combo with a basque, but bonnet bras still suck big time

    Most of you guys are missing the point of them:)

    They aren't a mod, or for continual use etc...They were initially produced for use on long journeys/motorway driving, and then to be removed at the end of that journey.

    Thats the job they are intended for, not supposed to look good, and not supposed to be used for longer periods.

    Hence your car won't look crap with it on there all the time, it won't damage the paint, and it will stop the most common cause of stone chips.

    and if I ever get that emotionally attached to the front of my bonnet i will be worried....

    drive it like you stole it FFS not like you want to take it inside and cuddle the bloody thing!!!

    agreed. id rather get my bonnet resprayed than put one of those things on it.

    I wouldn`t recommend fitting one to a freshly painted car. I had one on for just three days when mine was done...you can still see the marks it left two years later...[:^(]

    im sure (this sounds horrible but....) 'moddifying' your car is an individual thing? so if u think it looks nice you just do it? but i suppose he did ask for an opinion lol and thats what he got

    the only one i would run would be a full front bra, as the majority of stone chips are on the big flat front section of the car...the bumper not the bonnet.

    but then im not gay, so ill live with the chance of stone chips thanks.

    lol i know they are a marmite mod but i really like mine it covers stone chips and a bent i have, also i like the look it suit the style i have gone for on my car and it does'nt flat around at all even at high speeds.
