i used one of those air pump ones that come originally with the central locking and just got another motor for it from the scrappy, then repositioned the solenoid and powered it off the rear washer electrics, worked perfectly, and cost me nothing :)

Easy fit, mount horizontally, one mounting hole is there already just need to drill another one.

I used some weld wire to attach to the catch.

I got a frenched boot, so just delocked. Yeah, the fit is pretty good. If you standing at the back of the car facing the boot, you fit it horz, on the left hand side of the boot lid.

I got no rear wiper mech so could be why I have more room.

I picked up one of these. Can I add some other parts to it to open my boot?
