My mate has a mk4 bora 1600, it's gearbox has blown up for the second time in quick succession and has pretty much writen the car off this time (value wise) unless we can sort it cheaply - I want to know what boxes other than 1600 duw/duu code boxes will fit a 16v 1600 in a bora and still allow us to fit the original shafts speedo and clutch - I'm hoping a 1.8t would do, or a mk 3 polo as i have both of these potentially available. Its a X reg bora and its also a rodchange type linkage.
