    Would some 8"x15" BBS RM's ET15 (original ET 33) fit over 305mm 4 pot Brembos? :)

i know they'd fit over 280mm so am wondering about the extra 25mm. i have a feeling they won't but dunno whether spacers would be any use if it's just a caliper clearance issue , or if it's the diameter of the disc itself ...

    thank you please :)

thing is tho, they're originally 6.5" wide and ET33. by adding the 2" outer rims they're 8" wide, and by definition, ET15. it changes but doesn't really make any difference for brakes...

all depends what brembos and what offset discs you run.

    i've got 310s and porsche(brembo) calipers behind 7x15 MOs ET35

get the porsche ones like golfboy chris, they are easier to get to fit as the ibiza calipers are really big and square causing trouble with clearance.

and just as a thought, the et wouldn't cahnge would it!, cos all ur doing is adding to the outer rim, the face is still the same place it was before you add the extra width, you not moving the centre in or out. just adding extra width doesn't alter the et. as my 15x8 mo's are et 32. or maybe i'm wrong

Wrong, et does change cos it is relative to the width of the rim, the centre line of the rim moves by an half the increase in width, so the et reduces by the same amount.

Darryn, no chance they will fit - what every one fails to realise that it isnt the diameter thats the problem, its the size of the callieprs, they are thick and this is what will catch first.

You could probably use a huge spacer to clear, but it'd be crap. 280's are the limit.

ye looks like youll need spacers the size of your rims then. you could try a wilwood 4 pot kit from rally design at a similar price.

    Back on Brmebo's and happy.

while we are on the topic of the brembos anyone know what uprated disks are out there look look half decent that dont cost the earth in the 305mm.

do they do a brembo max disk in this size as they look pretty decent. or ate powerdisks etc?

What do you need to improve on the disks for? I've never faded mine.
