Iv got a mk2 driver. However, my mate is thinking of buying a Cossie. Brentacre give discounts for club Gti members. Is this just for tuned VW's or does anyone know if they insure tuned fords, or give discount for Club RS members etc.. or any of the ford clubs... or any brand of car at all?
I think they're kind of a specialist VW insurer. Well at least that was what my mate was told when he phoned up for a quote for a Toyota MR2. They gave him a quote but it wasn't very competitive. There must be some specialist Ford insurers.
There is a specialist RS insurer, I think it's called Dominion Plan, and is part of Equity Red Star - they are connected to the RS Owner's Club, so have a search on their site. Otherwise, Adrian Flux, HIC etc are usually quite good on Cossies too.
Brentacre will insure anything. I currently has my insurance on the BMW with them. The advertise as VW specialists as the people that run it are entusiasts themselves.
