Ya see I quite like that...it sort of rings my bell..mixing two of the coolest cars ever made (both mk1's which is interesting). The bonnet is a bit 'dance massive' and needs to go and the rear archs look a wee bit boxy & could do with a little tailgate spoiler just to help them.....but overall looks a proper thing...yep I defo think that could be a good'n !......maybe thats why I brought it...;)

tbh its not the silliest of prices to have paid for a fairly solid MK1 shell, roll cage and KR lump with twin carbs though is it? arches mau not be everyone's cup of tea but can always take them off or modify them as they are steel and workable :)

As above, someone might of got a good deal with that if the engine and shell really where all good.

We all like different things...the world would be a boring place if we didn't. I've been on CGTI for a few years now & looked/viewed /admired/ shaken my head at many things on here...I do geniunely believe..that its always good to be positive...however if me 'new baby' is offensive to some folk than so be it...I still love 'it'.. as only a father could.

Collo yours look much better and still have angles/edges to them, not nearly as curved as the ebay one that just look odd next to all the straight angles of the mk1.

I think someone got quite a good deal at 900, although not really to my taste. Depends how good the shell is, of course.

Yep that was a good deal, The shell has all steel bubble arches and fully blue printed 16V engine, No its not everyones cup of tea but makes a change from the common Berg cup stuff.

    Yes it was my shell.
