Burn colour on spark plugs

    As above making small adjustments to k jet.
    Your thoughts on the two burn Colours ideally want to be in between then but would you say they darker one is just too rich.

    Yes, left one much too rich. Right one not bad, maybe a touch lean.

    Ok.another small tweek I’m at the colour of the lighter one at the moment.I’ll try 1/8 of a turn I think the last adjustment was a 1/4 that sent it the rich black colour.I also run upto temp make the adjustment go for a quick blast,park up and turn off strait away just in case the idle gives me rich carbon which may be different from the actual running????

    Ideally you want to do a "plug chop", hard acceleration followed by shutting engine off as soon as possible (bit of a problem with steering lock in a car!).

    A wideband gauge is a nice tool to have, I run one in both my cars (Zeitronix Zt-2).
