Hi Guys, I'm looking into getting a MK3 VR6 Highline. Is there anything in particular I should look out for and avoid when getting one of these? Any help much appreciated, M1ST
Presume you know how to spot a Highline over a high spec "normal" VR6, so i'll avoid that part. Otherwise, just check for rust really. Later ones tended not to have tailgate rot problems as they were galvanised, but check sill tops, under the edge of the lower door seal, and rear arches. After that, make sure the seat heaters and air con works as both can be costly, and then the usual damage/wear checks. Good luck!
