Buying info/Pic’s on Lupo GTi!!

    Hi all,
    My bird is going to be buying a 2002 Lupo GTi with 6 speed box ect!!! [:D]
    Does anyone no much about them or has anyone on here had one??
    Are there any Lupo forums to look at!
    And some good modded pic's too please!!

    LOL, not for sale, she'd never forgive me (although we did mention it in order to get a MK5....). It's Graphite Grey with charcoal heated leather and a sunroof. The missus also chose to have a CD too. Came in at about 14.5k IIRC. Lovely car though, handles like a proper go-kart. Immense fun, but the power seems to run out too quickly compared to a VR. Now, put a VR in a Lupo, and that'd be ideal!

    You won't go wrong with one though mate, as long as you don't need any boot space! [:D] :lol:

    I've driven one lee guy has one at work. They are great fun!! Bit like all new dubs all have the cool blue backlight for the dials etc zenon's list goes on really. His was only the five speed but it certainly shifts along felt about as quick as a standard MK2 16V if not faster cos its so small :lol:

    Personally i wouldn't mind one myself for a small nippy town car but it certainly goes very well. Think they are about 8 secs to the 60 dash but they are just sheer fun, Flo will love it. [:D]

    Thanks Peep!! Ad's your right but i'm just going to do the conversion and not tell flo!! see if she will notice the differance!! :lol:
    Ian never mind if Flo likes it "I will" nice set of H&R coilover's and some ronal's, induction kit and a sweet sounding zorst and it will be done!! might look into VW and see what genuine front spliters they do!! might look nice!!??

    I just got my self some fk's for my new vr highline...BUT...I really want a lupo gti...would I miss the vr power?

    Hmmm...Think I'll bully the GF some more into selling her ford Ka!

    then I can have both!!!!!

    I'm so selfish sometimes :lol:
