    hey all...
my corrado 1.8 16v gearbox has just bitten the dust [:^(]diff rivet i think, and so i need some advice on the best one to fit....

i have been told that a 2.0 8v box would be good and would supply some extra pull down the revs, is this true?

also i am hoping to get a 2litre conversion in the future, prob a straight 9A or ABF swap, would the 8v 'box cope with this, or am i best fitting a 2.0 16v box now even b4 i change the engine?

any other ideas very welcome, thanks for any help, i'm a total novice with engines[:$]

unusual for an 02A box to go spitting rivets out to be honest, but not unheard of.
As for a box, you currently have a cable change so putting in a rod box from an 8v is not really a road you wanna go down.
    Stick with another 02a.
