Got a BGB (2.0 TFSI 200ps) in my A4 and the chain tensioner failed. Put it back to the garage I got it from, got it sorted and performance was never quite right. Decided to dig into it and it's now in bits.

The cams are locked together with the correct locking tool, no issues at all. The pulley on the inlet cam (belt end) is almost 2 teeth out from the factory marks! How is this possible? Anybody with more experience than me please help. Girlfriend is moaning that she wants her car back haha!

Car ran fine after picking up from garage, every now and again it would drive fine, then sometimes it was flat as a pancake.

Have checked key and keyway on inlet cam belt pulley and all good.

    Thanks in advance :)

If you are on facebook, try the TFSI Tuning page, some good info on there.
