Cambelt change MK3 GTI

    My car is in need of its cambelt changing

    How easy is this to do and do i need any special tools, or is it best left to the so called professionals??

    costs me 50quid + belt on my 16v i leave it to them that know,should it go belly up DIY,then you got to get yer wallet out again ;)

    Had mine done recently along with the tensioner and drive belt and paid 130.

    philipnslater - If you have to ask I wouldnt attempt it, you wouldnt want to destroy your engine would you ;)
