Does anyone know what these might be?

77cm long, some sort of carbon fibre rope?

They came from an F3 team, now defunct. Engine / packaging hoists perhaps? Or a wheel / suspension retension system? I'm wondering whether to put them aside for engine lifting duties, but to be fair, at 5-6mm diamater across around the eyelets, looking doubtful.

Suspension emergency straps for F2/3 cars (or at least thats where I have seen them). Just in case a wishbone/axle lets loose.

Yup, the Lola F3 (c. 2006) at work has these. Go through the wishbones and fix to a hard point on the chassis to prevent a wheel flying off

    Thanks for that

I don't think I'll risk lifting anything too substantial with them, but it'd be interesting if there were any specs on the likely load they're intended to take? :)
