hi, i have a 92 mk2 gti 8V, it has electric windows and apparently has central locking but this doesnt work ... is there any way of checking i hanve central locking because the woman i got it off was pretty clueless, so it could be a fuse that has blown or something. How can i check if i have a faultly but present central locking system and if i do how do i go about seeing why it itsnt working. jamie
Probably has got central locking as it's such a late model. The haynes will tell you which bits to look for, but for a quick check pull the door cards off and look for the pumps and air pipes, or the panel off the inside of the boot lid might be the easiest to start with.
