How do I slacken the tensioner on a 1996 ABF auxilliary drivebelt?
The tensioner is a solid bar and wheel. The only way I can see of doing it is to loosen the alternator and move it - but I can't figure out how.

Anyone shed any light on it for me?

    *bump* [:$]

The Haynes manual says bend the tensioner back with a spanner and release the belt..!?!
