    Hm...

I bought my first Corrado from this guy (Gavin) back in 2001 or 2002 - back then I had no idea what I was looking for and just bought it outright.

It was clean but in the end I spent about 1500 in the first year on problems he must have known were lurking. I sold it shortly after, feeling slightly disillusioned with the world of Corrado ownership. First bill alone was for 450 @ Stealth.. needed a tonne of stuff doing including brake discs & pads, all belts (Vince said he was almost sure it was on its original cam belt [xx(]) and a load of other stuff...

Its very possible it was just bad luck but a bit of background checking should have really put me off the car.. but that doesn't mean that if you do go and look at it, you shouldn't go over it with a fine toothed comb.

"requires TLC" just says that it's a reet sh*tter to me. photos hide a multitude of sins at the best of times. & a car seller can take them from the best angles only if they want to.

But, if you've got the money & are localish then it'd be worth looking at.

2500 for an M plate C-VR6 is still a bargain. Even if it needs 1000 spending on it.

I'd buy anything that said tlc thinking that I'd be expecting to spend some serious money to get it back to anything like a reasonable standard.

Doesn't take long for faults to build up when a car is neglected. [:s]

Yeah, but even my car needs a little TLC. Its got loads of stone chips, couple of scratches and the brakes are next on my renovation list.
