Can anyone recommend or give me a link to any laptops for Sale on our favourite auction site..... I need it purely to install my DTA engine management software on, so I can hook it up to the car & check all is well....Not bothered about size/make etc etc. Mains lead & carry case would be nice Probably needs Windows 98, CD drive, & an old serial port? to allow the lead to connect up. Its like an old mouse COM1? connection with two rows of pins.. Dont want to spend more than 50 if poss as it only needs to be a bargain basement lappy Cheers for any help..
IBM E600 off e-bay, they go for around 70 ish. Mates got one, has Win98 serial port IR port, CD-Rom, and USB port.
