after reading the autocar and evo tyre test im undecided between the bridgestone S 03 pole position and the goodyear eagle F1.

the S 03 seems to be better all round and better in the dry but im not sure if this justifies the extra cost. Is anyone running these tyres that can give some input?

    I need 195/50/15s when i get them.

    cheers
    mike

wow that was quick, the F1s did score like 50% less in dry performance. How do u rate the dry performance and wheres the best place to get them, i here www.blackcircles.com is the cheapest

Those i hear from tell me that the S03 is an inferior tyre to the S02, and is not meant as a replacement for the S02.

Eagle F1's are great -- cannot fault them.

I've never used the S02 or S03 though.

On the road, I've never had a problem with F1s in the dry,you need to be a psycho to reach their limit ;)

They overheat quickly on the dry track due to the V groove construction.

I've never used the Bridgestones, other than the RE720 which I did'nt think too much of.
