Ive recently bought a vr6 and when i test drove it there was a clicking on any amount of right hand lock. Naturally i thought it was a cv joint which is no big deal so thought it would be no problem. Turns out its not though after trial fitting two good driveshafts. What could this be?? It does it on any right hand lock even nearly in a straight line after being on right hand lock. Also another key symptom is it will only do it in 1st gear!! I just cant work it out. Ive got the box in bits at the moment because a spring broke on the reverse selector but really want to cure the clicking problem while its apart. Everything looks good though
