Coil packs on 1.2 Polo - How do i remove them?

    hi guys i need to change the spark plugs on my 1.2 polo, engine code BME (3 cylinder)

    how the hell do i remove them if i dont have the VW tool T10094A - This is the tool elsawin says to use.

    What diy methods have people employed? Do they pull directly upwards??? Push fit style? Is there anything locking them in?

    they'll be tight but should prise up with a big flat screwdriver, you could always spray a bit of wd40 and let it soak in for a bit, there isn't anything bolting them down they just push on

    hmmm, i just cant find anywhere to put a swrewdriver without knackering that plastic trim.....

    Thats the tricky bit, if your careful enough you can lever using the plastic bit without breaking it, once you've done one you'll see that it doesn't take a lot of force to pop them out

    just dont lever it underneath the connector, ive seen people lever there and snap the connector clean off the coil

    but because of that stupid plastic cover thing there really is nowhere else to lever it!

    the plastic cover is surprisingly bendy and even if it does break slightly the engine cover will cover it anyway
