A friend of mine had them on his mk4 they were OK not that he kept it long so can't say how well they last but I'd say they are better than fk's

Depends on your budget, you can spend ridiculous amounts on coilovers!

Just cheap like under 300, just for lowering really, I've had fk street in past and they used to knock like crazy

With coilovers you get what you pay for cheap ones don't tend to last too long
When you think a set of descent spring and shocks would cost 300 to 500
That's really the starting point for good coilovers

I had a set of FK coilovers on my Polo, they were terrible. Another set of cheap ones on my Mk2 and they were even worse than the Polo. I've now got Koni's and it's lovely!

Think I'll save and get a nice set, just don't want to spend more on coilovers than I did on the car haha

Aye fk coilovers are rubbish lucky if they last a few months before the shocks start leaking
I know a few people that have had Jom coilovers and they say are fine but they tend to charge cars like girlfriend's i'e two or three cars a year

Haha unless I would be better just to get some 40mm or 60mm lowering springs or is that worse

quit a few people on here run BC Racing coilovers Eddie has on Jenvee i believe he does more miles than most people plus a few track days so may chip in
Nige had on the Pinderwagon before he moved on to kw ones though he did say there was nothing wrong with the BC's just the kw suited his needs better
sure one the sponsors is a dealer for BC coilovers but don't quote me on that I may be speaking rubbish
