Hi I have purchased a ready built MS1 V3.0 for my abf and understand I need to mod it in order to use it with my Mk3 ABF.

What do I need to change?

I`m going to use a 4 window Kr dizzy and I have a DIYAutotune loom.

    Here is the board now..

NB I have read Toyotechs guide but just want some confirmation on what I need to Add/Remove.

I would go onto megamanual and go through the guide along with toyotecs and tick off or change as necessary.

I would not say that is ready at all.

As I have done so many of these things, here are my recommendations, if you can solder.

Step 1 Remove 2 of the jumpers, Tachselect to Optin, XG1 to XG2

Step 2 Jumper Tachselect to XG2 and Optoin to the 5v on the proto area.

Step 3 Remove components marked 'X', jumper D1 diode, add a 1 K pull up resistor (Orange) the 5v proto area and the lead of D14 closer to the DB7 comms port. The add a jumper from the LED pin direct to pin 36.

Now you are ready to operate an external ignitor and pick up a hall signal as a rpm after configuring your software

If you do not have the confidence to carry out these mods, then pm me

when adding the jumper from the led pin direct to pin 36 do i disconnect that led pin from the board or just leave it in place?

Also will this set up work if i use the crank angle sensor and keep abf dizzy?
