This was talked about in another post but not in detail what do you need to convert the carbs to t/b's and what additional parts would you need ecu etc etc ?
i've been doinn this for a bike engine at uni, we have no budget but we have a mappable DTA ecu so i thought it'd be rude not to use it, so i got on with butchering the carbs this is what they would've looked like before (not the actual set i chopped up) would be a nice idea just to change the spacing and stick them on a car as they are, without changing to fuel injection - proly good gains without the cost/hassle - seen it done on a Hollandish polo here: let the destruction begin here you can see how much of the carb i didn't use this is what i ended up with - sorry about the poor image quality i'll let you know how it runs in a few of weeks when we've got it running, the only other things that need doing apart from chopping them up and drilling holes for the injectors is a mount for the throttle position sensor needs making with attachment to the spindle, and some sort of an airbox mike
apparently there was an article on this in Car and Car Conversions a while back. anyone have it? anyone wanna scan it?
