    I have a 2000 year 1.8T Golf.

The reverse lights are not working, it's not the bulbs, and I'm not sure which fuse it could be...they're not labelled [:^(]

Also, the coolant temp guage doesn't sit at 90, it drops to the 9 o'clock position then rises to the 90 position and then back again, never going above 90. I think it might be the thermostat. Any ideas [:s]

Oh, and it's out of warranty :(

On a car this age, its probably a loose plug somewhere!! I know that doesn't help much. A friend of mine had a polo that had lots of little electrical probs. I when through all the plugs I could find. Ended up a loosly fitting plug at the fuse box. Probably a mechanic forgetting to plug stuff back properly.
